Daily Thought

Spending the day with family is one of the best ways I know to recharge my soul. Remembering why we work so hard all year long gives new meaning to the desire to keep going. Resting the body from training is one way to renew the willpower to continue challenging ourselves everyday. To refocus ourselves on our goals and the reasons we set these goals can add increased determination to persevere when things get difficult. Enjoy your family and friends this holiday and remember why you choose to work hard throughout the year. Connect with the values and people in your life that make it worth living to renew your determination to succeed for them and yourself. Rest up 2018 is going to be really BIG!

“The true purpose of recreation should be not merely to amuse, not merely to afford pleasure, not merely to ‘kill time,’ but to increase our fitness, enhance our usefulness, spur achievement. Any form of recreation that impairs either our physical or mental efficiency does not recreate. Real recreation quickens aspiration. ”  Bertie Charles Forbes

Holiday Survival Tip #23 Be Where You Are
You made it to another Christmas, now it is time to enjoy the holiday. Your may have a few last minute items to finish up, but the best prize is here. You friends and family are the best gift you could ever receive. They are why we all look forward to this season of good will. Long after the gifts have worn out or the food is eaten the thing that remains are the loved ones in our lives that make it rich. Enjoy the holiday and be with those who matter most.
