The Reason Why
Why would you put yourself through the rigors of staying fit? If wishing you were healthier would change your health we would all be in perfect health. It takes action and discipline to create health in your life. Many of us don’t attain the level of health we desire because of a variety of obstacles: time, focus, lack of energy, work demands and others. All these obstacles are real and represent a big challenge to living well everyday. It takes a focused, clear vision for better health to overcome these obstacles. It also requires a set of skills and qualities that must be developed over time to not only get in shape but stay in shape for a lifetime. These skills and qualities must be developed with constant effort over a long time. The rewards of a healthy lifestyle are great and are worth every effort, and aren’t you worth the effort? Get crystal clear about why you would endeavor to develop a healthy lifestyle. If not for yourself, maybe for those around you who would benefit from your better health. Before we can begin to construct your personal plan for better health, you need to get real about the benefits and consequences of taking on your health or ignoring it. You need a really compelling reason to go after it day after day. Get focused on the reason why you will do it.

Sustained Intervals of 8-10 minutes at your Anaerobic Threshold (90% of max HR) followed by a 4:00 recovery at 80%. As fast as you can go without getting out of breath. Complete 4x for 60 minutes total and finish last 2:00 at 95% full sprint pace. Complete the following Circuit workout in 45:00.
Holiday Survival Tip #22 Don’t Forget to Take Your Vitamins
During the holidays your body will be stressed from the demands of the season, the excess eating and drinking and just the hectic pace of everything. Be sure you don’t deplete your nutrition, just because you will be eating a lot more than usual does not mean you will have a balanced diet. Take your vitamins as you normally would to be sure you maintain nutritional balance. It is hard enough to eat a balanced diet even without the bustle of the season. Keep your vitamin regimen during the holidays to insure better balanced nutrition.
